Product Description
Product Introduction
Epoxy-rich zinc primer is a two-component coating: Component one consists of epoxy resin, zinc powder, anti-rust pigments, additives, solvents, and more, while Component two is the curing agent.
Product Advantages
1. The high-zinc-content epoxy zinc-rich primer is produced using premium-quality zinc powder with a high zinc content, effectively protecting the substrate and significantly enhancing its anti-corrosion properties.
2. Cathodic protection: A higher content of zinc powder provides cathodic protection, offering electrochemical corrosion prevention.
3. Excellent Adhesion: The coating exhibits outstanding adhesion to sandblasted steel surfaces, ensuring that the film remains intact without peeling or flaking.
4. As a heavy-duty anti-corrosion primer, the matching-performance epoxy-rich zinc primer forms a complementary system with various intermediate and topcoats, demonstrating excellent coating compatibility.
5. Corrosion inhibition: Zinc powder preferentially reacts with the corrosive medium, forming a dense layer of zinc salts that effectively blocks and shields against further corrosion, thereby protecting the steel and providing an inhibitory effect.

Applicable Conditions
1. Epoxy zinc-rich primer is used in numerous fields, including steel structures, architectural venues, steel bridges, port and dock facilities, construction machinery, petrochemical storage tanks, and pipeline anti-corrosion systems. It is primarily paired with epoxy micaceous iron intermediate coatings as well as weather-resistant anti-corrosion topcoats.
2. Epoxy-rich primer + epoxy micaceous iron intermediate coat + acrylic polyurethane topcoat;
3. Epoxy zinc-rich primer + epoxy micaceous iron oxide intermediate coat + fluorocarbon metallic topcoat;
4. Epoxy zinc-rich primer + epoxy micaceous iron oxide intermediate coat + acrylic polysiloxane topcoat
