Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expansion Section 5

The total estimated investment for the project is 29.197 billion yuan. The project will be upgraded and expanded along its original route, starting from the Huangcun Interchange on the Guangfo Expressway, where it connects to the northern section of the Guangzhou Ring Expressway. The route then passes through Tianhe District, Huangpu District, and Zengcheng District in Guangzhou City, as well as Mayong Town, Zhongtang Town, Wangniudun Town, Daojiao Town, Wanjiang Subdistrict, Nancheng Subdistrict, Houjie Town, Humen Town, and Chang'an Town in Dongguan City, and finally ends at the Dongbao River Bridge—the boundary between Dongguan City and Shenzhen City—on the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway. The total length of the route is approximately 71.13 kilometers.

Project S509

The first-phase reconstruction project of the S509 section from Pingtou (Yilong boundary) to Fude (Qu County boundary) in Peng'an County has a starting and ending chainage of K39+317 to K68+100, with a total length of 28.777 km. Of this, the newly constructed section measures 10.102 km, while the section utilizing and expanding the existing road totals 18.675 km. The main works include 26.151 km of subgrade engineering, 8 bridge structures, 75 culvert structures, 2,295 meters of tunnel engineering (including electromechanical systems), and 28.412 km of pavement engineering.
