On February 20, the company held its 2024 Work Mobilization Meeting to comprehensively summarize the work of 2023, analyze existing issues, and plan and deploy key tasks for 2024. The company’s management team, department managers, regional managers, and technical leaders attended the meeting.
General Manager Wen Yanlong pointed out that in 2023, all employees of the company rose to the occasion and demonstrated great dedication and initiative. The company achieved new successes in various areas—including production and operations, scientific and technological research and development, and market expansion—recording record-high performance. Newly signed contracts exceeded 240 million yuan, and the company has won a total of 87 projects to date, creating favorable conditions for its future development. Wen Yanlong emphasized that in 2024, the company should closely align with its actual situation, focus on deepening project maintenance, and reduce operational costs; rigorously ensure product quality, promptly arrange shipments, and provide full support for tackling challenging projects; strengthen communication within regional areas, leverage team strengths, and swiftly resolve any issues arising during project execution; fully mobilize company resources, promptly track and provide feedback on information related to new projects; continuously improve the customer management system and enhance the company’s market share among central state-owned enterprises; and at the same time, actively monitor and track payment collections to provide strong guarantees for the company’s healthy development.
Chairman Wang Xianghong delivered an important speech. First, she analyzed the severe challenges facing the company in the future and highlighted the most pressing issues the company is confronting, then posed questions about how the company should proceed with its next phase of development. Wang Xianghong pointed out that in 2024, the company will fully implement the new development philosophy and focus its efforts along four key directions: First, in terms of development strategy, the company will closely align itself with the “32151 Plan,” concentrating wholeheartedly on the development of new materials without wavering; second, in management, the company will continue to institutionalize, plan systematically, standardize processes, and enhance efficiency—ensuring strict compliance with directives and unwavering commitment to mission fulfillment, conducting comprehensive performance evaluations, aggressively reducing operating costs, rigorously controlling corporate risks, and boosting economic returns; third, in talent development, recognizing that “success depends on talent, and enterprise expands through talent,” the company will place great importance on talent, actively attract top talent, foster an inclusive and open environment, leverage talent recruitment to promote talent cultivation, pair experienced employees with newcomers, continuously nurture talent, establish a scientific compensation system and employee incentive mechanisms, retain top talent, and stimulate their creativity; fourth, in product development, the company will intensify R&D efforts, setting aside at least 2% of total annual output value for R&D expenditures, and wholeheartedly create innovative products to enhance the company’s core competitiveness.
At the meeting, heads of various departments and regions summarized their work for 2023 and elaborated in detail on their work plans for 2024.
