LZ-TPF polymer fibers are high-performance synthetic fibers manufactured through chemical treatment and mechanical processing, using natural or synthetic polymeric materials—primarily polyester and polypropylene—as raw materials.
Usage scenarios and performance advantages
1. It boasts high tensile strength and an exceptionally high elongation at break, enabling it to effectively reinforce and toughen asphalt mixtures, thereby enhancing their low-temperature crack resistance and fatigue durability.
2. Its oil-absorbing performance is slightly inferior to lignin fiber, so there’s no need to worry about excessively increasing the asphalt dosage.
3. Available in various fiber lengths, suitable for enhancing the performance of mixtures with different particle sizes and types;
4. The high-temperature performance can reach 24°C without deformation. Many products on the market exhibit melting, curling, and even burning during high-temperature mixing, leading to fiber failure—this issue warrants serious attention.
5. This fiber is used in drainage asphalt mixtures to increase the mixture's viscosity, significantly reducing the cracking and particle loss—common issues that often occur in drainage pavements—and thereby extending the service life of these road surfaces.
